CERAMIC ARTIST

Samantha Tierney studied Roman & Greek Architecture. The artist work combines both modern & ancient techniques to create unique pieces with a contemporary twist to ancient times.

Method

Each pot goes through many stages to get the finished piece. The pots are made from moulds which are created from scratch. Each pot has its own individual pattern and transfer on it and each rim is hand carved. After carving, each pot goes through three firings, and is finally finished with screen prints converted into a ceramic transfers which is the black pattern you see.

Bespoke Wedding Day Event at Elysian

Elysian enjoyed there second ‘wedding day event’ with award winning florist, Joanna McCrea had prepared some amazing floral designs. Hat designer Chrissie King and jewellery designer Clare Lupino  previewed their latest collections, which are now a permanent feature in the Elysian Store.

‘Bride to be’,  Seema Parmar had the Elysian VIP service with champagne, chocolates and tiara treatment , and her make-up done by top Make Artist Fiona Lobo-Cranston, what more could a woman need.

Everyone had fun at the Wedding Event on Saturday, special thanks to ‘Twisted Willow’ Yorkshire Brides award winning florist of the year 2008 ‘Joanna McCrea’ for providing all the beautiful flower arangements and Robin Patisserie, producing the best chocolate and wedding cakes to the stars.
